We were at Headphone Bar, and saw the Mirage OMD-15 Loudspeaker ($2500.00 USD / pair) in High Gloss Rosewood, and couldn't believe how beautiful it was.
Mirage is a Canadian speaker manufacturer. They have been making speakers for just about as long as we can remember.
Had it not been a raining day, we would of bought it, on the spot.
In cabinet, a fabulous copy of the Revel Ultima 2 Studio 2 loudspeaker. In driver technology, a copy of the B&O BeoLab 5 driver. At the rear, absolutely fabulous binding posts. You could almost reach and say that it's a thinner version of the XTZ Divine 100.49 Walnut Loudspeaker. Still great drivers, much nicer looking!
Started by Ian Paisley in 1972, Mirage came out with a speaker that measured +/- ¼ dB, 30 Hz to 20 kHz. The OMD-15 measures flat 33 Hz - 20 kHz (+/- 3dB), with an efficiency of 91 dB.
The Mirage OMD-28, 25 Hz - 20 kHz (+/- 3dB) at 87 dB.
Although we shouldn't bring it up, Kevin Voecks Revel ... 3 also brings some value to the table at $2500.00 under the '28.
The Totem Element Earth Loadspeaker ($7500.00 USD / pair) offers a direct price comparison in this disputed price segment.

Summary
Should you not be able to afford a Revel Ultima 2 Studio 2 ($15,998.00 USD / pair), or simply wish something that is modestly flat, good looking, and happens to share the technology of not only the legendary Mirage OM-1 Omni Polar Loudspeaker ($25,000.00 - $29,000.00 USD / pair), but also the leading speakers of today, the Mirage OMD-28 Loudspeaker ($7,500.00 USD / pair) is a very good choice.
How about some value on your dollar? :)
